Western Tyres is a long established business operating a transfer station (75,000 tonnes per annum) in Avonmouth. We operate an “End of Life” tyre collection service, ranging from car up to earthmover as well as supplying new and remould casings. We operate a fleet of vehicles, from 3.5t van to 44t, we can meet most requirements. We cover the South West, South East and Wales. As holders of relevant Environment Agency licences customers can be assured that all tyres are dealt with responsibly. Car tyres are sent for remoulding or used as fuel in cement kilns, whilst commercial tyres are sent to be shredded and used in sports arenas and playgrounds.
